Why the water is dirty and the fish are dyingThe water is dirty because people are dumping their trash in the water.All the trash that we through away goes into the water which means the fish are dying and all the other animals and people that drink the water.Even when we go to toilet we are poluting the water.

Litteringeverybody puts their trash on the ground instead of inside of the garbage can. Since at our school we have lots of garbage on the ground so our class picks up the garbage after we have recess(it also keeps the seagles from eating the garbage. so it’s better to pick up the garbage than leaving it there to where the animals can get caught in it or eating it.

In my school there is a kid and his name is brian.Brian is a nice boy,but not to the enviorment.One day I was taking a walk and I saw Brian. Brian’s dad was a smoker, and he was smoking.So brians dad was going to throw away his cigarette bud in the trash,but brian said to his dad ,”It’s ok you can dump it here inthis pond. Brians dad was not sure but he did it. The duck in the pond thought it was food so he ate it.But then the duck died.I did not like it but life is life.EARTH DOG I was wondering if you could help me,could you?Ihope you can.I have one more story or essay to tell. People in our world have landfills and in each state in our world dump trash in these landfills.When they dump their trash in these landfills the landfill gets full.When the landfills get full they have to dig a new one. The earth will have more landfills and that will mean more holes will be dug in the world.When there are more and more landfills dug soon there will be no more room for any more landfills.When there is no more room for landfills you should recycle but we do not have any recycling place.

The Problems with PollutionThe biggest problem with Pollution is that we are all doing it and hurting things that are not. The animals that are getting hurt are all of them birds have to fly in the air pollution, fish have to swim in the water pollution anda and all animals on land have to breathin and live with the trash of humans. I feel that technology is good but it is hurting the environment deeply. Every time we use a piece of paper we have to consider how many trees we killed to write that little note to our friend. Think about the pollution it made to process the wood into the paper. Or how about where your trash goes when you through it away. To a big piece of land where everyone else’s is making a big pile that could have been a forest for so many animals Every year my school takes a whole day to go to a river and clean it to the best of our ability. Just think if every school did this two times a year we would have a little bit of cleaness for our fellow earth friends still living and not extinct. Think of how many animals used to live here and it seems that we all have killed so many thing that did not hurt us. All humans need to stop polluting and mabye the next generation will have a place to live

A TREE IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEEDThe loss of old-grouth forests throughout our country has become a major enviormental concern . Amazingly,this contry was once covered with some of the most spetacular forests anywhere in the world. Today,only a small fraction of these old forests remain. This loss has affected both animal habitates and air quality. Help Earth Dog find a way to help reverse this problem.

Earthdog!!!I have a problem. People want to build a landfill just across the street from my school (Killbuck Elementary). I think I need your help. See, this all started when some Planet-pooper bought some land to build a landfill on. He didnít even ask if he could.

Maybe you can help me by taking the people who want to build the landfill into the future to see what it would be like if they did go ahead and build the land fill. You could help make the plants, animals, soil, and waters that would be destroyed tell them all the thing that would happen to them (meaning people) and the natural resources.

I think that we need to cut down on the garbage I mean we really need to stop.If we dont stop our whole planet will get trashed up.Then were will we put the trash on Jupieter?We need to so that we wont have to worry about anything happening to the people that are going to come ahead of us.Just because a few people didnt care it is going to end the world or atleast hurt it for their grandchildren or if we really dont care for their children.We need to stop! I vey much agree that the polution in the air is disgusting. If you go to a big big city you practicly choke. I hate passing fractory on the highway sometimes it even makes me trow up. Anyway lets stop talking about all the bad and get on to the good stuff. It would be quite a challenge to make our world beautiful and not smeel like an ash tray or a garbage dump. It’s terrible. I’ve noticed in the last 5 months that the small little towns are starting to get poluted.Most people don’t care about the earth. The earth is our home and we need to save it.I think its all the cars. It would be better for the earth if everyone went on a bus. You could fit about 20 on a bus and only 4 people comfortably in a normal car. They also use the same amount of gas. Another idea would be for people to car pool.For example the 30 kids in our class all need a drive to school. Why not have one parent drive 4 kids to school and then you would only need 8 cars each with 4 kids in it and you’d use less gas.If you’re in walking distance of just say a store why not walk there.It’s good exercise and you also help the earth.There are many ways of transportation that don’t use gas like bicyling,rollerblading or even jogging.I think people need to respect our earth more than they do.I can understand if your going a long way you don’t want to be stuck on a bus for six hours.A solution take the train sure it might cost more but it’s comfortable and you can sleep easily.I have a friend that has asthma whenever we’re in a big city she’s coughing loudly. I think its dangerous for anybody expecially those with breathing promblems. Old women or men that have breathing troubles could have a heart attack or a stroke. Our earth is facing a serious problem and with the help of Earth Dog and kids around the world, we can take care of it. It’s one of the most serious enviornmtal issues, concernng the entire world and we need to come up with some srious solutions. The problem is trash. Where do we put it and how do we get everyone to coopeate?Once everyone reliazed that the world’s landfills weren’t going to be empty forever, we came up with the idea of recycling. Recycling has been the biggest advance concerning our trash problem. But, there’s one problem with recycling: some people just don’t care. People are taking the adittude that they don’t have to worry abouthe future because they’re not going to be around to expierence it. This aditude is a death sentence for the children of today. One day us kids are going to be in control of this problem, and we don’t want to make our task any harder now.

Ocean Pollution is a problum we all can stop. If you are driving an oil ship make sure everything that keeps the oil in is in. Oil is harming the water and the bacteria in the water. Did you know that paper is made out of trees? It is. And a wasted blank piece of paper is just destroying our health and needs. We need trees, and anytime you throw a piece of paper away, you are throwing away a tree. Trees produce oxygen for our lives. The trees are becoming endangered, just like animals are. Every day, 3,000,000 people are throwing away paper. That is 3,000,000 trees wasted. We need trees in our life, or have some of you forgotten? They help us live our lives. Anytime a tree dies or gets chopped down, the tree discinigrates into the ground into many roots and that’s when people start throwing away paper. They think it’s cool to see a tree die or get chopped down. But not the people who understand that if trees weren’t here, our life would be gone. So don’t throw paper away, because all it’s doing is destroying your life forever, too. You don’t get a second chance, so if the people who care about their lives, and tell people not to chop down trees, then that’s what everybody should do. Ever Heard of Clean Air?Did you know that the air you’re breathing right now could be full of harmful chemicals? You bet! Latly, companies all over the world have been dumping out all sorts of discusting chemicals. Do you have asthma or bronchitis? One of the leading causes of those two things is air polution. Air polutions are harmful materials that damage or contaminate the Earth. You can help stop air polution by:
A.) Not using chemicals loosly like paint thiner, cleaning alcahol etc., in your neighborhood or town.
B.) If you live close enough, ride your bike to school or carpool with friends.
You may not agree with theese resons for this is just my opinion.

Do you know that we can use tires and old rope for playgrounds? The tire and rope can make 1 tire swing. A car has four wheels that can make four tire swings. I think that when you buy knew tires what do you do with the old ones? My friend and I have also thought of sending around a flyer to donate money so we can buy trash cans for our forest. Alot of people have been coming in to the forest were my friend and I have special logs and they crack them! We have made the forest our special place. I wish people could be a little more thoughtful. We can save and enterntain many people with recycling things. Kids can also use these things for projects.

I know how to save the trees! We could just tell the newspaper company to leave our trees alone. And leave the rainforest alone to. Please earth dog help save the trees soon or else our animals like birds, sqirruls won’t have anywhere to live. We need trees for shade and sitting spots. So lets go out there and save our trees before they are all cut down! And so our birds and sqirruls will have somewhere to live and have shelter during storms and stuff! I want the newspaper companies to leave our trees alone! Why don’t the tree companies and stuff think about our animals! Please people help us to save our trees and animals.
